Vanadinite is a lead chlorovanadate mineral (Pb₅(VO₄)₃Cl) known for its fiery red to orange hexagonal crystals, which frequently form on a matrix of white to tan Barite and sometimes darker, earthy Goethite. Barite (barium sulfate) provides a beautiful contrast with its blocky, bladed crystals, while Goethite (an iron oxide mineral) adds grounding energy and a rich brown-black base.
